As a part of our continued growth we are looking for a dedicated and passionate Automotive Turbocharger Assembly and Test Production Technician. As an Automotive Turbocharger Assembly and Test Production Technician, you will be responsible for: Dismantling Turbocharger Cores while preserving materials, surfacing cleaning and restoration of internal components, replacing needing components, inspection/re-working, setting and functional checks, balancing of components, pre and final assembly, quality checking and packing and shipping. The Automotive Turbocharger Assembly and Test Production Technician will also be responsible for maintaining excellent customer service to internal and external customers always. We are seeking candidates who are extremely motivated and are excited about the opportunity to support all operational processes and procedures. Excelling at this position you must be able to multitask, communicate well with others, have hands-on automotive Turbocharger experience with a knowledge of automobiles. Job Summary:
Final Turbocharger preparation and assembly before inspection and testing by performing the following duties
Essential Job Duties:
1. Study, read and understand Turbocharger schematic diagrams, blueprints, product manuals and process documents
2. Perform cleaning of all parts as per established cleaning procedures
3. Perform pre-assembly activities such as cleaning and lubricating
4. Perform installation, repair, inspection, reassembly, replacing, refitting and adjusting components as required
5. Perform final checks and adjustments for any defect to ensure high quality products
6. Follow assembly and test procedures to promote production of quality products
7. Perform complex and advanced assembly of Turbochargers according to established specifications and instructions
8. Perform precision calibration and advanced adjustments using testing instruments with instructions
9. Monitor the functioning of all Turbochargers and report any problems or substandard conditions to the supervisor
10. Perform equipment assembly according to engineering drawings and instruction
11. Conduct product testing and performance testing and record the results
12. Ensure all records are maintained according to standard operating procedures
13. Perform precision calibration and advanced adjustments using testing instruments with instructions
14. Receive, unload, unpack and transfer materials to different work stations
15. Develop an understanding of equipment and preventive maintenance procedures to avoid any breakdowns and failures and to feed improvement suggestions to Management
16. Occasionally may need to train new team members
17. Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area

Job Requirements

Education & Experience:
High School diploma/General Education Degree (G.E.D). Turbocharger Builder/ Machinist; One to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to work in an environment with Oils and cleaning chemicals.
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Be able to lift up to 10-15 lbs (if presented with material that is at a weight greater than one's personal comfort level, any employee has the ability to request assistance). Stand for extended periods of time. Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.
