Job Description

Job Summary:

Processes warranty claims for labor payments, creates customer credit memo, and vendor debits.

Essential Job Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Work off daily reports or verbal instructions to process warranty claims.

Calculate labor payments based on review of repair orders and Mitchell Labor Time Guide.

Create customer credit memos and vendor debit memos in the computer system.

Handle internal and external inquiries both telephonically and by email.

Research required information using available resources.

Update existing customer information

Identify and escalate priority issues

Follow up customer calls when necessary

Be familiar with ATK internal Policies, values, employee manual, and ATK Quality Policy.

Be aware of his/her process/sub-processes and know related procedures.

Maintain performance indicators in acceptable levels.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment (control of house keeping record R0164001).

Be familiar with ATK's Code of Safe Practices.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum high school diploma or GED, Two years experience in related automotive field.


Above average typing and computer skills.

Ability to follow established procedures and policies.

Possess willingness to accept direction and perform repetitive tasks.

Required language proficiency, proficient in spelling and grammar skills

Familiar with automotive engine terminology

Familiar with Automotive Labor Time Guides
