Job Description

Essential Job Duties:

1. Unload loads of cores coming into the location via 53' trailers or other transportation, giving an accurate count on each load.

2. Sort the cores into three criteria via various information given; cores for production, bumpers

With metal and bumpers without metal.

3. Remove all metal on bumpers that have been set aside from the sort, using the tools provided.

4. Identify the bumpers via part number or stamping number from the information provided by Keystone Automotive.

5. Loading and stacking, correctly of the cores deemed for Mexico production into 53' trailer staged at the location. Ensuring each trailer is loaded correctly and to maximum capacity.

6. Ensuring the proper paperwork is turned into the manager for each yard

7. Sweeping out of the trailers if necessary

8. Support and cross train in the operation of the Stationary Grinder when necessary.

9. Support when necessary the loading of the shredded material produced by the Stationary Grinder.

10. Initiate and support the continual improvement of Keystone Automotive Industries' quality improvement system.

11. Assume other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

 Basic Qualifications
Education & Experience:

* High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.


* Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills.

* Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to interact with all levels of management and team members.

* Must be able to work in cooperation with others.

* Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:

* This position requires individuals to be able to work in hot and cold weather and to lift, push and pull up to 60lbs.

Machines, Equipment, and Software:

* Ability to operate all equipment in the Production plants, computer, ADS/Prelude knowledge for PRD department processes and reports.

* More specifically, ability to pass certification of the fork lift program.
