Job Description

 We are currently looking for a Warehouse Driver Check-In to join our established and growing company at our location in Houston, Texas.The schedule for this full-time position is M -- F, 12pm -- 9:00 pm.

Job Summary: Checks in Route Sales associates by verifying paperwork, processing returns and preparing forms and records relating to the check-in procedure.

Essential Job Duties:

  1. Checks in routes sales associates by verifying activity summaries against miles driven, checks/cash received, and returns.
  2. Verifies the deposit summary and forwards to accounting for processing.
  3. Classifies all returns according to integrity and condition of parts, and prepares necessary forms for inventory adjustments.
  4. Initials paperwork on returned parts for invoicing by accounting.
  5. Checks in defective parts and enters into computer system for return to vendor.
  6. Signs off on all delete tickets, providing an explanation as to reason.
  7. Puts wheel cores in staging area for return to remanufacturing facilities.
  8. Maintains orderliness and housekeeping of assigned work areas.
  9. Assumes other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications (Minimum Required Experience, Education, Knowledge/Skills/Abilities, Essential Physical Demands):

Education & Experience:

High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent desired. Additional training in personal computer operations and software applications desirable. At least 6 months of warehouse related experience, supplemented by on-thejob training, to learn duties, nature of work performed, procedures, and work methods.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Must be able to work in cooperation with others. Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments. Must be able to communicate effectively with others. Must have the flexibility to work variable schedules.

Machines, Equipment, and Software:

Computer, forklift, order selector, pallet jack, pull cart, ladder, and telephone.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:

Requires individual to constantly be on their feet except when operating machinery. They must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, and climb. Lift up to 75 pounds regularly.

Preferred Qualifications:

Forklift certification.
