Job Description

Job Summary: Responsible for the preparation and packaging of High Performance engines while maintaining order and cleanliness of the High Performance "shipping" area

Essential Job Duties:

Preparing shipments of parts for outbound shipment

Placing Engines on Engine Stands for assembly

Setting Engines on test carts to be run on DYNO and removal for shipping

Sweeping and keeping the High Performance Department clean and organized as needed

Become familiar with and memorize various part locations within the warehouse while being able to differentiate between various part numbers (attention to detail)

Be familiar with ATK internal Policies, values, and ATK Quality Policy

Be aware of his/her process/sub process and know related procedures

Education & Experience: High School diploma or general degree (G.E.D): must be willing to learn procedures related to this position and be able to work for short periods of time unsupervised

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
