Job Description

  • Evaluates Re-manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; soliciting observations from operators.
  • Develops Re-manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing Re-manufacturing methods and equipment.
  • Improves Re-manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  • Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming Re-manufacturing processes.
  • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Provides Re-manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
  • Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Develops process flow and work instructions
  • Develop tooling gauging and torque strategy for all production

The Engineering Tech. will be required to cooperate and communicate with all levels of the departments and organization. This person will create & maintain engineering standards while exhibiting cooperation and communication skills. This person will adhere to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices

Education & Experience: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two- year college or technical school/ or working knowledge of transmissions with two years' experience.
