Job Description

PGW Auto Glass, a large automotive aftermarket distributor has an immediate opening for a Sourcing Coordinator. PGW AG is part of LKQ Corporation, the largest provider of aftermarket collision replacement products, recycled OEM products and refurbished OEM collision replacement products.LKQ is also a leading distributor of paint and body shop supplies.

Position Summary

  1. Execute all necessary purchase order life cycle management activities (releasing orders to vendor, assuring accurate quantities and costs) to support dynamic sourcing assignments to achieve optimum value for the Company.

  3. Identifying resourcing opportunities through current business sourcing needs, vendor price offering analysis, vendor discussions, sending RFQs, and day-to-day cost negotiations of potential and current SKUs. Involves extensive communication with Pricing/Portfolio teams to find sourcing for New Parts, and Supply Chain for current industry forecasts. Maintain record to report resourcing savings.

Work with warehouse personnel as point of contact to offer guidance on shipping errors (quantity, trademark, SKU number, attachments) and resolve through contact of vendor for return, credit, and general resolution to assure smooth receipts process.
The incumbent performs various ad hoc analyses as needed.These analyses require that the incumbent be able to see the larger picture; understand how the data is organized and needs to be mined; know the data that will be most useful and appropriate for the required analysis and be able to compile the data into useful information in a clear presentable fashion.

Maintain work instructions for non-transactional tasks in order to facilitate accuracy, speed, and the ability to provide directions to others.

Resolve accounting price variances.

Job Requirements

As a developmental position, the incumbent must have a strong desire to learn and increase responsibility, while maintaining solid performance with accurate results. The incumbent must also show the potential and willingness to progress to a higher level in the organization.A strong incumbent will have good communication, presentation, and organization skills.

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, as well as proficiency in other products of the Microsoft Office Suite. The incumbent must possess strong analytical reasoning capabilities and have the ability to work with large amounts of data.S/he must have high attention to detail and accuracy.

The incumbent must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to summarize and communicate results clearly. S/he must have the ability to take direction from multiple people and manage multiple tasks concurrently.

The incumbent of this position in a "developmental " capacity must have the ability and desire to learn quickly as well as the desire and potential to move up in the organization. S/he must demonstrate a strong work ethic with a strong focus on results and continuous improvement.

A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field such as Math, Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain is required. 2-5+ years of work experience in an analytical position is preferred.
