As a part of our growth LKQ is looking for a dedicated and passionate Quality Control/ engine breakdown Tech with knowledge of replacement parts. The Quality Control Tech must have some experience in car repair and parts. The Quality Control Tech dismantles, inspects, and prepares LKQ product for shipment and delivery to our customers. Essential Job Duties:
Drain, Process, and Package engine and transmission cores.
Record engine and transmission core counts.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Minimum Required Experience, Education, Knowledge/Skills/Abilities, Essential Physical Demands):
Education & Experience: Requires High School diploma or GED equivalent. 1 year of automotive experience required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have knowledge of automotive industry. Must be able to dismantle automotive parts. Must be able to read and write English.
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment: Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50lbs. Noise level loud. May be required to work outside in all weather conditions.
