We are currently looking for an Automotive Paint, Body and Equipment(PBE) Technical Repto join our established and growing company at our location in Austin, Texas.  Theschedule for this full-time position is M – F, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

JobSummary: This position will be responsible for providing technicalsupport at the customer level, primarily supporting the sales growth andcustomer retention efforts of our PB&E sales organization.

 EssentialJob Duties:

1. Ensurethat proper use of Health, Safety and Equipment practices are adhered toduring work hours.

2. Performproduct demonstration and line trials to prospective and existing customers.

3. Performin shop product training for new and existing accounts as required.

4.Resolution of product failures \ problems. Will identify the systemic causeand provide system or process solution to eliminate reoccurrence.

5. Supportresolution of color issues with key accounts

6. Supportsales and installation of new accounts.

7. Providetechnical review of repair process focused on product related matters.Objective is to ensure the proper use of the products we sell and to enhancecustomer output.

8. Assumesother duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

BasicQualifications (Minimum Required Experience, Education,Knowledge/Skills/Abilities, Essential Physical Demands):

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High School Graduate.Some college coursework desired. Minimum 3-5 years experience with automotiverefinishing.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Must be able to work incooperation with others. Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy inwork assignments. Must be able to communicate effectively with others. Musthave the flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends. Must befamiliar with the company's products; must have knowledge of paint, chemicalaspects and refinishing.

MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT: Company vehicle, personalcomputer, fax and telephone.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requiresindividuals to have the ability to work under conditions of frequentinterruptions and be attentive to detail.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties ofthis job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, aswell as to an office environment. Should be able to tolerate high and lowtemperature levels, and occasional inclement driving conditions. The employeeis occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level insome work environments is moderately loud.

PreferredQualifications:

5 -10years of automotive refinishing experience. Completion of paint manufacturestraining in waterborne paint application. Strong color matching abilities. Icar certifications. Prior knowledge of and experiencewith Sikkens/Lesanol Paint lines.
