Job Description

We are in a business that requires a high level of customer service and our customer’s perception is created by their interaction with our Delivery Drivers who are the face of the company.  As a part of our continued growth we are looking for a Delivery Driver for our Sumner, WA facility.

This driver will to go to Sumner daily and back to Lynnwood.
JobSummary: Operatesa Company vehicle to deliver product to customers. Manually loads and unloadsdelivery truck, verifies parts loaded and unloaded, collects payments fromcustomers, obtains signatures from receiving locations confirming accuracy ofparts unloaded/loaded and delivers returned items back to the branch.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Drives a Company vehicle in a safe, courteous andresponsible manner avoiding traffic violations and accidents.

2. Physically loads Company truck at the branch and verifiesthe condition of the truck, the manifest and other paperwork associated withthe deliveries to be made.

3. Drives to the delivery destination and physically unloadsthe truck, verifies parts unloaded, obtains signature of receiving locationconfirming the accuracy of parts shown on the order and those received andsigns off on the integrity of what was loaded at the location.

4. Makes proper notations on the manifest and providesreceipts on parts being returned from customers to the branch.

5. Picks up buy out purchase orders from vendors on vendor“fill in” purchase orders and delivers parts back to the branch or customer.

6. Collects accounts receivable, as necessary.

7. Works in such a manner as to prevent shortages and damageto products.

8. Complies with established Company policies andprocedures.

9. Assumes other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

BasicQualifications (Minimum Required Experience, Education,Knowledge/Skills/Abilities, Essential Physical Demands):

Education and Experience: High School graduate orG.E.D. equivalent preferred. Some college coursework is desired. Minimum of sixmonths driving and warehouse operations experience. Possess a valid driver’slicense and safe driving record. Must qualify for Corporate insurance programs,including vehicle insurance. Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT)testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulationswhen/as required. Must be at least 21 years of age.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Possess comprehensiveknowledge of replacement parts for the aftermarket collision repair industry.Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with the Company’s warehouse anddelivery methods, techniques and procedures. Possess the ability to performbasic math calculations, interpret road maps, effectively communicate on an interpersonalverbal basis and proficiently use telephones. Must be able to work incooperation with others. Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy inwork assignments. Must be able to communicate effectively with others.

Machines, Equipment, and Software:

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment: This position requires sitting, standing,walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing and ascending/descendingstairs. Requires sitting for relatively long periods of time, while driving. Italso requires frequent bending, climbing, movement and lifting of up to 75pounds during physical loading/unloading of trucks and when stocking products.
