Job Summary:

Develops and improved or new designs for High Performance engines, and testing of engines by performing the following duties

Essential Job Duties:

HP engine builder including: Modifying, checking and setting of clearances, and final assembly

Experience operating a Dynamometer machine

Prepare Dynamometer machine for the following procedures: tuning, power ratings, endurance tests and testing of different part combinations

Alters or modifies design to obtain specific functional and operational performance

Be acclimated to specific parts application and modification process.

Be familiar with all necessary steps involved in crating and shipping product.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience: Must be familiar with Engine Assembly and have own tools; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
