We are currently looking for a Quality Control Tech to join our establishedand growing company at our location in Livingston, Louisiana.  The schedule for this full time position is M – F DAY SHIFT, with potential for overtime and for weekend work.

JobSummary: A Quality Control Technician cleans,inspects and prepares LKQ product for shipment and delivery to our customers.


EssentialJob Duties:

Cleanparts – Buffing small parts, Power washing drive train, Cleaning panels withsoap and water.

Inspectparts – Matching description and quality to how it was inventoried.

Communicatewith sales reps – Using email and/or phone to describe any discrepancies inquality or inventory of the part.

Preparefor shipment – Protect all small parts with bubble wrap and place in acardboard box, Wrap bumpers with a protective cover, place doors in racksdivided by foam pads.

Load semitrailers going to other LKQ facilities – prepare racks with panels and smallparts to be loaded on semi trailers via a fork truck.

Job Requirements

BasicQualifications (Minimum Required Experience, Education,Knowledge/Skills/Abilities, Essential Physical Demands): High School diplomawith some automotive knowledge.


Education& Experience: High School Diploma


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Basic computer skills. Able to identify most car parts.


EssentialPhysical Demands/Work Environment: The ability to lift 50lbs or more


PreferredQualifications: Fork lift experience
