Job Summary:

Verifiesand keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items forshipment

Essential JobDuties:

 

Identifies information such as counts,weights and measurements of incoming and outgoing shipments to verifyinformation against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records


Create and process daily shipmentpaperwork


Monitors and Verifies daily shipments andupdates computer systems for Texas and all warehouses


Schedule and monitor carriers for on-timepick-ups


Schedule inbound and outbound T/Lshipments


Enter UPS/FED EX shipment paperwork andadd it to the shipments


Track shipments through websites or phonecalls


Label and inspection daily LTL shipments


Scan daily LTL shipments


Be familiar with ATK internal Policies, values, and ATK Quality Policy


Be aware of his/her process/sub process and know related procedures


Provide quality customer service according to product support procedure (P0572001)


Job Requirements

Education & Experience: Six months to oneyear related experience and/or training

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to read andcomprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information inone-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and otheremployees of the organization
