Job Summary:


Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment



Essential Job Duties:



Identifies information such as counts, weights and measurements of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records



Create and process daily shipment paperwork



Monitors and Verifies daily shipments and updates computer systems for Texas and all warehouses



Schedule and monitor carriers for on-time pick-ups



Schedule inbound and outbound T/L shipments



Enter UPS/FED EX shipment paperwork and add it to the shipments



Track shipments through websites or phone calls



Label and inspection daily LTL shipments



Scan daily LTL shipments



Maintain a safe and clean work environment



Job Requirements

Education & Experience: Six months to one year related experience and/or training





Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
