Job Description

1. Manage and maintain internal tax calendars, compliance reports, electronic and paper files.
2. Assist in income tax compliance by entering Form 8594 data and tax payments into Onesource OIT.
3. Manage and process submission of tax returns, estimated tax payments, extensions.
4. Request checks and make ach debit/credit tax payments using state websites or Wells Fargo.
5. Assist in the preparation of letters, reports and memos using MS Office Suite.
6. Open and sort mail. Respond to tax notices or assign to others as needed.
7. Research tax payments for tax account reconciliations prepared by tax accounting and bank
reconciliation teams.
8. Review location prepared Form 8300 & file with IRS.
9. Maintain current address and contact information with the IRS and resolve entity discrepancies.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience: Minimum two-year degree required. Minimum five years experience in an administrative support function in a medium to large company.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Computer, 10-key calculator, multi-user telephone system, copier/scanner, fax machine, Microsoft Office & Adobe Pro software packages. Familiar with corporate tax forms, accounting and tax terminology and workflow in a corporate support center. Pays attention to detail, strong organization skills, able to prioritize multiple tasks and monitor tax deadlines.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment: Office file maintenance which involves bending, kneeling, etc and occasional lifting of boxes with file folders. Must have the ability to work under conditions of frequent interruptions and work overtime when necessary to meet deadlines. Frequent trips to post office to drop off certified mail.
