Job Summary:

Responsible for data entryand processing of warranty claims or related payments. Also responsible forresearch and related processing of adjustments (debits/credits) to vendorand customer accounts

Essential JobDuties:

•        Scanning and indexing of invoices and check requests

•        Data entry of invoices into accounting system forpayment

•        Review of payment terms 

•        Process check requests

•        Prepare Accounts Payable checks through data entry

•        Interfacing directly with customers to troubleshootinvoice issues and seek direct resolutions

•        Special projects and other duties as identified by theSupervisor

•        Identifying opportunities for process improvements

Job Requirements

Education & Experience:

Highschool graduate or G.E.D equivalent required. Minimum 2 years of accountspayable experience required.


Musthave good written and verbal communication skills.

Basicskill level in Microsoft Excel.

MACHINES, EQUIPMENT,AND SOFTWARE:Computer, 10-key calculator, multi-user telephone system, copier, fax machine,and Microsoft Office software.

Essential PhysicalDemands/Work Environment:

Musthave the ability to work under conditions of frequent interruptions and beattentive to detail. Must be able to be patient with others, have the abilityto listen and be able to work comfortably under pressure.

Example skills:

.Knowledge of general accounting procedures

.Accounts Payable experience

.Aptitude with communicating with various levels throughout the organization

.Invoicing experience

.Purchase order experience

.Excellent track record of providing suburb customer service

.A “self-starter' who is able to seek our resolutions on their own

.Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products – Word, Excel, Outlook
